Mohammed Umaru-Bago and the people of Niger over the recent bandit attacks on communities in Agwara and Borgu LGAs.<\/p>\n<p>It will be recalled that some armed men believed to be bandits stormed Agwara and part of Borgu  last weekend, attacked  Kasuwan Daji market and wreaked havoc, claiming the lives of 42 persons and led to the abduction of several residents, including children.<\/p>\n<p>In a condolence message made available to newsmen in Minna on Tuesday, Ndarani described the attacks as tragic, heartbreaking and condemnable.<\/p>\n<p>The Senior Advocate noted that the loss of innocent lives and the abduction of vulnerable citizens constitute a painful setback to peace and communal stability in the state.<\/p>\n<p>Ndarani, who is also the Hukunchi Nupe and Hausaland, commiserated with the Governor over what he described as a difficult and trying moment.<\/p>\n<p>He acknowledged the governor\u2019s continued unwavering commitment to securing lives and property across the state despite persistent security challenges confronting parts of the country.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI deeply sympathise with Umaru-Bago, the government and people of Niger over the unfortunate bandits&#8217; attacks in Agwara and Borgu LGAs.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;My heart goes out to the families who lost loved ones and those whose children and relatives were abducted,\u201d Ndarani said.<\/p>\n<p>The senior lawyer applauded the governor\u2019s prompt response and engagement with the security agencies following the attacks.<\/p>\n<p>He stressed that such leadership demonstrated empathy, responsibility and resolve in the face of adversity.<\/p>\n<p>He urged the residents of the affected communities to remain calm and supportive of government efforts, while calling on security agencies to intensify operations, strengthen intelligence gathering and ensure the safe rescue of all the abducted victims.<\/p>\n<p>Ndarani further called for collective action involving traditional institutions, community leaders and stakeholders to support the state government in confronting insecurity, stating that peace and development cannot thrive in an atmosphere of fear.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a time for unity, prayer and collective resolve. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I am confident that under Governor Bago\u2019s leadership, Niger will overcome this challenge, and the perpetrators of these heinous acts will be brought to justice,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p> Mohammed Ndarani  SAN,also prayed for the repose of the souls of the deceased and asked God to grant quick recovery to those injured, while offering words of hope and strength to families affected by the obnoxious tragedy<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Uthman-Baba Naseer, Minna An Abuja based legal practitioner, Mohammed Ndarani, SAN, has expressed deep sympathy to Gov.
