{"id":11291,"date":"2026-02-24T03:55:48","date_gmt":"2026-02-24T03:55:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyechoes.ng\/?p=11291"},"modified":"2026-02-24T03:55:48","modified_gmt":"2026-02-24T03:55:48","slug":"sit-at-home-anambra-govt-shuts-down-another-market-for-7days","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyechoes.ng\/index.php\/2026\/02\/24\/sit-at-home-anambra-govt-shuts-down-another-market-for-7days\/","title":{"rendered":"Sit-at-home: Anambra govt shuts down another market for 7days"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>By Our Correspondent <\/p>\n<p>To enforce compliance with the cancellation of Monday sit-at-home at home,Anambra State Government has announced the closure of another market, New Auto Spare Parts Asocciation (NASPA) Market, Nkwo Nnewi, for business with effect from midnight of Monday, 23rd February, 2026 to Monday, 2nd March, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The closure of the market followed low compliance with the state Governor, Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo&#8217;s order to end Monday sit-at-home in the state.<\/p>\n<p>The order to close the market was handed down on behalf of Soludo by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Trade and Markets, Chief Evarist Uba, in company of the Commissioner for Information, Dr Law Mefor, and Special Adviser to the Governor on Security, AVM Ben Chiobi(Rtd) and Nnewi Mayor, Hon.
