Director General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) State Assembly Forum (ASAF), Ambassador Fubara Dagogo has hailed what he described as a peaceful conduct of the South south zonal Congress of the party, last Wednesday in Asaba, Delta state <\/p>\n
Ambassador Dagogo, who was denied expression of interest and nomination forms to participate in the congresses after paying his N5.1m and getting clearance from the party’s finance department to vie for the office of National Vice Chairman South south, however, insisted that he would pursue his case against the party until justice is served, noting that he has passionately paid his dues in the APC, even more than those who wickedly connived to exclude and shut him out of the congress<\/p>\n
The ASAF DG in a statement he personally signed, extended his congratulations to all the officers who emerged at the Asaba congress, even as he insisted that nobody should jubilate over the office of zonal chairman as the exercise is already a matter in court, and would be nullity.<\/p>\n
He encouraged his supporters to remain strong in their unflinching support for the re election bid of president Bola Tinubu, and other officers of the party in 2027, adding that the president support at the grassroots remains intact.<\/p>\n
“I salute the South south APC stakeholders for a successful conduct of the zonal congress in Asaba. The peaceful conduct reflects the unity in our zone, even in the face of detractors. I salute the APC governors of the South south region,our hard working Senate President, the House of Representative members, my number one constituency, the State Assembly members, major stakeholders and the entire delegates and party faithful for a good outing.<\/p>\n
“While we strategize to give and guarantee our dear president, Bola Tinubu, our governors and other contestants a resounding victory in 2027, we must not fail to get it right at our zonal level. It is on this resolve that we have remained focus in pursuing our case against my illegal exclusion from contesting the office of National Vice Chairman of our zone, after meeting all the party requirements. We will not relent until justice is served,” he emphasized.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
