The Imam of the National Mosque of Nigeria, Abuja, Dr. Abdulkadir Jumuah Salman Solagberu, has commended the Registrar\/Chief Executive of the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board, JAMB, Prof. Is-haq Olanrewaju Oloyede, for raising the board\u2019s standard in probity and service delivery.<\/p>\n
In a statement, Solagberu described Oloyede\u2019s tenure as \u201cthe golden age in the annals\u201d of the examinations body. <\/p>\n
He said the JAMB boss had taken the board to a level where it is now Nigeria\u2019s most credible and admirable examinations body, and a model for other public institutions.<\/p>\n
Solagberu, who is also the Malami Ubandoma of Ilorin and proprietor of the proposed Darul Kitab University, Ilorin, said the former University of Ilorin vice chancellor had been a good ambassador of the Nigerian Muslim community. <\/p>\n
\u201cThe renowned academic has not disappointed his primary constituency and the nation either as an academic or administrator,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
He urged Oloyede, who is also Secretary-General of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, NSCIA and Kuliyan Sokoto, to sustain his efforts, adding that his place in the history of Nigeria\u2019s public service was secure.<\/p>\n
Solagberu also called on Nigerians, particularly Muslims, to emulate Oloyede\u2019s patriotism and creativity so the country could achieve its full potential.<\/p>\n
The Imam prayed for Oloyede\u2019s long life, sound health, and happiness to enable him to continue serving Allah and humanity.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
