The Commissioner of Police in Niger State, CP Abdullahi Adamu Elleman has reitrated the Command preaparedness to ensure the protection of lives and property of the citizens.<\/p>\n
He assured that the Command under his leadership will continue to maintain law and order that will guarantee the safety of the people of the state at all times.<\/p>\n
CP Adamu Elleman stated that Police as an instution saddled with constitutional duty of safeguarding the live and property of the people as well as maintenance of law and order, \u201c will not compromise in its constitutional responsibility of the protection of lives and property of the citizens\u201d<\/p>\n
In an exclusive interview with our reporter, in Minna over the weekend,the Commissioner of Police explained that the command will continue to partner with the citizens and all critical stakeholders in the state to ensure effective policing of the state.<\/p>\n
According to the Police boss, every citizens have the duty to partner with relevants security agencies in ensuring the security of their wellbeings stressing the importance of provision of verifiable informations to the police on the unusual movement of suspicious persons in their midst for prompt action.<\/p>\n
He noted that the police cannot work or operate in isolation with out the support and cooperation from the public with the Provision of information assuring that such information will be treated with the absolute confidentiality.<\/p>\n
\u201c The Police are not magicians. The Police are not spirit. They are human beings like any other human beings we rely on the people to provide us with the needed informations on the activities of criminally minded individual in their midst.<\/p>\n
\u201c Without such information from the public,we cannot perform our duty as enshrined in the constitution and police Act. It is against this reason that we are appealing to the people of Niger State to always extend their hands of fellowship to the appropriate security agencies for prompt action\u201d CP Elleman pleaded.<\/p>\n
Speaking further, CP Abdullahi Adamu Elleman,implored community,religious and youths leaders in the state to always guard against any act culpable of undermining the security and peace in their respective community warning that the full wrath of the force will be visited on erring persons \u201c no matter his status in the society\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201c The law is not a respecter of any individual no matter his position in the society.
\n\u201cThe law will not spare any person or group that undermine the peace and security of the State.<\/p>\n
\u201c The Command under my watch will not for any reason allowed some few disgruntled individual in the state to undermine the existing peace and security already being enjoy in the state.<\/p>\n
\u201c I will go all out to use the instrumentally of the relevant law against such individual, it does\u2019nt matter his position in the society. Like I said,the law is not a respecter of any body\u201d he declared.<\/p>\n
He warned criminally minded elements and trouble makers in the state to steer clear from every part of Niger State,or the command will descent heavily on them adding, \u201c No hidien place for trouble makers in any part of the state, they should either engage themselves in lawful business or they should relocate\u201d<\/p>\n
The Commissioner of Police, called on parents to always mornitor the pairs their wards keep to avoid be involved in any criminal activities warning that the Command would not hesitate to take decisive action on any youths that engage in act of criminality that will bring them to command.<\/p>\n
While urging law abiding citizens in the state to go about their legitimate activities, CP Adamu Elleman assured that the command will always ensure the security of the people that engage themselves lawful movement in the state.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
