Not less than Seventeen prominent persons were presented with meritorious awards by the Minna Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) to round up the 2026 law week.<\/p>\n
The week long press week commenced with a series of activities which include road walk, Special Juma\u2019at prayer ,Sunday Service,public lectures among other activities.<\/p>\n
The award and dinner night which was held at the Princes Azzara Hotel in Minna the Niger State capital,witnessed a large turn out of legal luminaries from across the country.<\/p>\n
Among the awardees,include the Chief Judge of Niger State,Justice Halima Ibrahim Abdulmalik,the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Niger State Nasir Muazu Esq, a Lagos based legal practitioner,Chief Emeka Ozoena SAN who served as the chairman of the occasion and past chairmen of the Minna Branch of the association among others.<\/p>\n
Speaking at the occasion Chief Emeka Ozoena SAN,commended the Minna Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and members of 2026 law week planning committee for ensuring the successful hosting of the law week.<\/p>\n
He disclosed that the Minna Branch of the NBA,known as \u201c Power Bar,could best be described as one of the organized and vibrant Bar across the country due the calibre of legal practitioners that came from the branch.<\/p>\n
He charged other branches in the country to come down to the Minna Branch to learn from their wealth of experience in how to organize themselves in order to be as vibrant as the branch. <\/p>\n
Chief Emeka Ozoena SAN appreciated the planning committee for singled him out of many other lawyers in the country to bestowed him with the award assuring that he will continue to cherish the award and relate the branch at all times.<\/p>\n
Speaking earlier the Chairman Minna Branch of the NBA Ishyaku Barau Esq, appreciated the executive committee members and members of the 2026 law week planning committee for ensuring the success of the law week.<\/p>\n
He said the NBA Minna Branch will continue to leave up to its constitutional and professional responsibility in the defense of the law at all times.<\/p>\n
Also speaking,the 2026 law week planning committee chairman Muhammad Abdukadir Waziri Esq, pointed out that the success of the week was as a result of collective team work of the members of the planning committee.<\/p>\n
Abdukadir Waziri, who is the immediate past chairman of the NBA Minna Branch appreciated the members of the branch for reposing the confidence on him to head planning of 2026 law week.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
