There are strong indications that major opposition parties\u00a0 comprising\u00a0 the PDP, SDP, APGA, PRP in Mbadim council Ward, Mbatiav, Gboko local government area of Benue State have dumped their various political parties to join the All Progressives Congress (APC).<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The event took place separately at Dim-Shin as\u00a0 well as\u00a0 \u00a0Mbaayev, Mbaanambe and Ukough kindreds vwhile the other one took place at Dim -Sha,\u00a0 Luga market square, Mbazaka kindred respectively.<\/div>\n

\u00a0Following the unprecedented and uncommon leadership disposition of Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormen Alia, the Governor of the State and Rt. Hon. Hyacinth Aondona Dajoh, the Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly being experienced at the nooks and crannies of the State.<\/div>\n

Receiving\u00a0 the decampees into the APC recently, the Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly and the vice chairman North Central, conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria, Rt. Hon. Hyacinth Aondona Dajoh accompanied by the APC chairman Gboko local government area, Hon. Terfa Iorgilim, assured them of equal opportunities in the party.<\/div>\n

Represented by her amiable wife Chief Mrs. Cynthia Kundamiyol Dajoh, described their decision as apt and timely coming at the time that their services were mostly needed for the overall development of their constituency and the State at large.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Dajoh acknowledged the unwavering support of Mbadim during and after his election in 2023, while urging them to remain supportive to the Governor Alia led administration and the 10th assembly under his leadership to succeed.<\/div>\n

He thanked Dajoh mothers from Mbadim\u00a0 axis under the able leadership of the women leader, Mrs. Oraza Grace Mwuese,\u00a0 promised to accord them the desired support at all times.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
He enjoined Mbatiav women not to pull down the lather they have used to support him to the Speakership position rather, they should redouble the strength of the lather to enable him ensure the deliverance of\u00a0 more democracy dividends at their door steps.<\/div>\n

Responding on behalf of the decampees, Hon. Patrick Tema and Hon. Dooiyol Hiimkpe\u00a0 explained that they were dumping their political parties because of the unprecedented strides\u00a0 recorded by the Governor Alia led government and\u00a0 the uncommon leadership disposition in the 10th Benue Assembly, stressed that their defection to APC marks the end of the opposition parties in Mbatiav clan.<\/div>\n

They pledged their 100 percent loyalty and support to the governor, the Speaker and APC family.<\/div>\n

Similarly, at DIM SHA, Mbazaka kindred, Hon. Vincent Akombo,leader of the defectors enumerated three reasons that informed and catalyzed his defection decision to include; Being his brother’s keeper, Doing the wishes of the masses in his community and above all the exceptional performance and the peoples oriented leadership style of Governor Alia and the Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly<\/div>\n

In their separate remarks, Youth leaders representing Dim Shin and Dim Sha,\u00a0 appealed to the Speaker to drill boreholes\u00a0 in their communities to address the issue of water shortage\u00a0 \u00a0in their respective communities as well as provide job opportunities for the teaming population.<\/div>\n

Hon. Bar. Torseer Yina, Gboko local government council Chairman thanked his immediate constituents for their support to the Speaker and Governor of the State, promised to follow their footsteps emulate\u00a0 by bringing development at their door steps especially drilling of boreholes to address the shortage of water in the area.<\/div>\n

Hon. John Ihyembe in a good will message, described Mbataiv people as the luckiest people for having the Speaker as their son who is representing them well and charged them not to compromise his second term ambition.<\/div>\n

Wife of the Speaker was accompanied to both events by Hon. Raphael Kasha, Chief of Staff to the Speaker, the Executive Chairman of Gboko local government area, Hon. Bar. Torseer Yina, Hon. Terfa Iorgilim, APC chairman Gboko local government area, Hon. Solomon Ishi, zone B APC chairman, Hon. John Ihyembe, Hon. Mnyam Bam SSA on Political Affairs to the Speaker, Hon.
