Aliyu, who is representing Wurno/Rabah Federal Constituency of Sokoto State, would bring his wide experience to bear in managing the committee and tackling the problem of incessant blackouts and controversial expenditures.

Ojo noted that many Nigerians have lost confidence in previous investigative panels set up by the House due to their failure to produce meaningful outcomes over the past 17 years.

However, he said the current committee has inspired renewed hope, noting that it has been mandated to carry out a comprehensive forensic audit of Nigeria’s power sector including investigation into policies, expenditures and interventions implemented between 2007 and 2024.

Ojo described Hon.
