The national leadership of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) national leadership appreciates *The Kukah Centre* for providing institutional support to the party through the instrumentality of the ongoing training for the party’s sub-national officials which began with the North-Central Zone, in Abuja, on July 2, 2026.<\/p>\n
In a statement signed SDP Publicity Secretary,Araba Rufus Aiyenigba,the party formally appreciates its impactful engagement with The Kukah Centre and for powering the ongoing Train The Trainers program for our officers from the six geo-political zones.<\/p>\n
The training, funded by the European Union under the auspices of its European Union Support to Democratic Governance in Nigeria (EU-SDGN) Component 3 (Support To Political Parties), is organised by The Kukah Centre.<\/p>\n
The *SDP 36+ Leadership Pathway* is a capacity building initiative of the party through its National Labour and Civil Society office, given instutional support by The Kukah Centre.<\/p>\n
This public statement serves to put correctly to the public that the ongoing training programs are part of the bilateral engagements between the party and development partners, locally and internationally.<\/p>\n
The Party is grateful to The Kukah Centre for finding our training proposal suitable for its support.<\/p>\n
The Party hopes that the practical tools, knowledge gained, and leadership skills impacted will significantly enhance the administration and governance mechanisms for the effective running of the party at the national and sub-national levels.<\/p>\n
