{"id":16027,"date":"2026-07-28T22:05:10","date_gmt":"2026-07-28T22:05:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyechoes.ng\/?p=16027"},"modified":"2026-07-28T22:05:10","modified_gmt":"2026-07-28T22:05:10","slug":"nasc-confirms-ibrahim-sidi-as-house-of-reps-clerk","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyechoes.ng\/index.php\/2026\/07\/28\/nasc-confirms-ibrahim-sidi-as-house-of-reps-clerk\/","title":{"rendered":"NASC Confirms Ibrahim Sidi As House of Reps Clerk"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> By Our Correspondent<\/p>\n<p>The National Assembly Service Commission has confirmed the appointment of Mr. Ibrahim Sidi as the substantive Clerk of the House of Representatives. <\/p>\n<p>In a statement signed by the Director Public Affairs,Mr E.N Anyigor,the Commission approved Sidi\u2019s confirmation along with other senior officers today (Tuesday ,  28th July, 2026) at the 31st Meeting of the 6th NASC held at the Commission\u2019s Conference Room.<\/p>\n<p>The other officers whose appointments were  confirmed  are : Mrs. Fortune Ihua-Maduenyi (Secretary of Protocol and Inter-Parliamentary Relations ), Asien Fatima Nana (Secretary, Zonal Liaison Offices), Engr. Bashir Layya (Secretary, Estates and Works), Siaka Wahab Sadia (Deputy Clerk, Legislative, House of Representatives), and Dauda Bulama Bukar (Deputy Clerk, Administration, House of Representatives).<\/p>\n<p>It would be recalled that the Commission had on 20th January, 2026 elevated Mr. Ibrahim Sidi and the other officers to their different posts in acting capacity.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Our Correspondent The National Assembly Service Commission has confirmed the appointment of Mr. Ibrahim Sidi as the substantive Clerk of the House of Representatives.
