We are also into organizing of conference through IBOM CONFERENCE where we bring government officials, students, professional bodies and expert to deliberate on issues that would bring development in Akwa Ibom.&#8221;<br \/>\n\u200e<br \/>\n\u200eAccording to him, the NGO achieved these through inhouse financing mechanism where board of trustees and directors sourced for funds to financed their projects and program, while donations from outside source are welcomed to assist them achieve their dreams.<br \/>\n\u200e<br \/>\n\u200eThe Ibom conference which is coming up on the 28th of August 2026 is going to hold at Aiku Luxury Hotels and Resort at Ring Road 3 by Oron Road, Uyo Akwa Ibom State and the team for the conference is Driving Industrialization, Innovation and Sustainable development, he added with a view that the team was chosen to change the narrative that the state Akwa Ibom is not only a Civil Service State and place where only church premises are located.<br \/>\n\u200e<br \/>\n\u200e &#8220;This team is about industrialization and if you look at Akwa Ibom, the state is a very viable place for industrialization but we noticed that industries, factories are not in Akwa Ibom State but all that we have here are churches and government offices. So this conference now come in to bridge the gap between the state and investors, we will market the state to investors by telling\u00a0 the people out there that Akwa Ibom State is viable place for investment, industries, factories and companies can thrive in Akwa Ibom.
