Fresh fact emerged on why President Bola Tinubu rejected Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo state as Director General of his re- election campaign council.<\/p>\n
President Tinubu was alleged to have bowed to pressure by some APC governor who warned the President that it would be political suicidal to appoint governor Uzodinma who is yet to account for over N 800billiion already raised for election . APC governors were said to rejected governor Uzodinma following the alleged unaccounted N800B campaign fund by governor Uzodinma. The Governors in a move that suggest more trouble for the Imo state governor insisted that it was wrong for Uzodinma to remain as APC governors forum .
\n Meanwhile a frontline political group has congratulated senator Yari the new Director General of President Tinubu campaign Council. Chairman of the group chief Stanley Ibe in a statement commended the president for appointing former Zamfara state governor as his re election campaign chief .
\nThe group said it would have been dangerous to have appointed Uzodinma as his campaign head<\/p>\n
