The Osun State Government and the Presidency are reportedly working towards a negotiated settlement of the lingering local government crisis in the state, with a resolution expected before the 2027 general elections.<\/p>\n
The spokesperson to Governor Ademola Adeleke, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, disclosed this during an appearance on the Frank Talk programme on Rave 91.7 FM on Wednesday, October 14, 2026.<\/p>\n
Rasheed said the governor and the Presidency were putting together a negotiating team to address the dispute surrounding local government administration in Osun State.<\/p>\n
