Born on March 2, 2005, in Lagos, Nigeria, to Mr. Abiodun Apantaku, a Public Affairs Specialist at the National Assembly, Abuja, and Mrs. Funmilola Apantaku, Bolu hails from Ilesha, Osun State.<\/p>\n
After relocating to the United States, he began his secondary education at Chicago Math and Science Academy (CMSA) before graduating with honors from Niles North High School in Chicago. He is currently in his final year at the University of St. Francis, Illinois, where he has distinguished himself both academically and professionally in media production and broadcasting.<\/p>\n

Long before stepping behind television cameras and live-streaming setups, Bolu developed the qualities that now define his media career through competitive athletics.<\/p>\n
As a varsity athlete, he excelled in both football and track and field, earning recognition as an All-Conference football player, a Top Athlete finalist, and a standout competitor in multiple track and field events.<\/p>\n
The discipline required on the football field and the precision demanded on the track shaped his work ethic, sharpened his competitive instincts, and taught him how to thrive under pressure qualities that later became central to his success as a broadcaster and live content creator.<\/p>\n

At the University of St. Francis, Bolu transformed his passion for storytelling into an award-winning media career. Immersing himself in every aspect of television production\u2014from directing live broadcasts and operating control rooms to anchoring television news\u2014he quickly established himself as one of the university’s most accomplished student broadcasters.<\/p>\n
His achievements have earned recognition from the Illinois College Press Association (ICPA), highlighting both his technical excellence and creative vision.<\/p>\n

– Third Place (Statewide) \u2013 Short-Form Video Production, recognized for outstanding editing, pacing, audience retention, and digital storytelling.
\n– Best TV News Anchor, honoring his confident on-air presence, teleprompter mastery, and professional broadcast delivery.
\n– Best Short-Form Video Production.
\n– Best Video Editor, recognizing excellence in post-production and visual storytelling.
\n– President, College TV Club, where he led production teams, supervised multi-camera broadcasts, and coordinated live television programming.<\/p>\n

Beyond broadcasting, Bolu has demonstrated exceptional leadership in marketing and digital communications.<\/p>\n

– Vice President of Marketing for the Student Government Association, leading promotional campaigns, campus branding initiatives, and student engagement strategies.
\n– Social Media Strategist for both the Student Government Association and the Black Student Association, overseeing digital campaigns across multiple platforms.
\n– Social Media Manager for the university’s football program, producing real-time sports coverage that transformed live games into engaging digital content for students, alumni, and supporters.<\/p>\n
These experiences strengthened his expertise in audience growth, branding, and digital community building.<\/p>\n
