Fr. Maurice Livinus, who was abducted alongside two other victims last Wednesday in the state have regained their freedom.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Rev. Fr. Livinus, who is the Parish Priest of St Patrick\u2019s Catholic, Isokpo in Ikwerre Local Government Area of the state, and two other victims were kidnapped while returning from a hospital visitation along Elele-Isiokpo road in the area.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The Spokesperson of the Rivers State Police Command, SP Grace Iringe-Koko confirmed their release in a statement issued in Port Harcourt on Sunday.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">SP Iringe-Koko noted that the kidnapped victims, Rev. Maurice Livinus and the two others, were released by their captors after pressure from the combined efforts of the security team comprising policemen, soldiers from the JTF Isiokpo, and the local vigilante.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">She stated that the victims have been reunited with their families for medical attention, while efforts are ongoing to arrest the culprits.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; A Catholic Priest in Rivers State, Rev.
