Ahead of 2027,\u00a0 Minister of Works, Dave Umahi has declared that President Bola Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State will spend eight years in power.<\/p>\n

Umahi made this declaration during the launch of the second phase construction of Kaduna-Abuja-Kano road project.<\/p>\n

He also faulted the opposition coalition, stressing that they should be constructive and not destructive.<\/p>\n

Recall that\u00a0that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and a chieftain of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, had announced a coalition.<\/p>\n

The opposition coalition was aimed at ousting Tinubu from power.<\/p>\n

On Friday, Atiku, El-Rufai and some former governors had met with ex-President Muhammadu Buhari and opposition figures in Kaduna State.<\/p>\n

Umahi said: \u201cI want to assure you, my dear governor, Uba Sani, that I\u2019m also a prophet. It was only David in the Bible that was prophet and a preacher, and God has told me that you will do 8 years, and Bola Ahmed Tinubu will do 8 years.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe voice of God is the voice of men, but let me advice the so-called coalition and opposition, when you are in opposition, you are doing constructive opposition not destructive ones.<\/p>\n

\u201c You have to provide alternatives to what you are criticizing, talk is cheap and the work is very easy when you are not the one doing it.<\/p>\n

Opposition is to provide alternatives. I have never seen any opposition providing an alternative to anything; but I want to thank the president and financial institutions \u2013 just a few days ago said the reforms of Mr President are working.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey said the Nigerian financial issue is upgraded and the World Bank said so. So, who is the opposition that darkens counsel without knowledge.<\/p>\n
