Gabriel Ogbara, has clarified that the Bayelsa State Government has not relocated the Rural Development Authority (RDA) headquarters from Kolo community to Emeyal 11.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Ogbara explained that the government received a notice from the federal government to create new local government areas and submitted a proposal for a new LGA with its headquarters at Emeyal 11.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">He stated that this decision was made after consulting with stakeholders, who agreed that Emeyal 11 should be the headquarters due to its status as the constituency headquarters.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The lawmaker emphasized that the RDA headquarters is still located in Kolo and will continue to operate from there. He attributed the confusion to a misunderstanding of the government&#8217;s decision regarding the new local government area.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Ogbara denied allegations that the decision was motivated by George Turnah&#8217;s support for FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, describing Turnah as &#8220;nobody in Bayelsa State.&#8221;<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The lawmaker highlighted his achievements in his constituency, including the construction of concrete walkways, pavilions, and town halls, as well as empowerment programs.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0He praised Governor Douye Diri&#8217;s administration, describing him as the best governor since the state&#8217;s creation.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Ogbara urged the people to continue to support the governor to experience more development projects and improvements in their welfare.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Agadaga,Baylesa The Member representing Ogbia Constituency 3 and Chief Whip of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Hon.
