{"id":3836,"date":"2025-05-04T17:30:53","date_gmt":"2025-05-04T17:30:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyechoes.ng\/?p=3836"},"modified":"2025-05-04T17:30:53","modified_gmt":"2025-05-04T17:30:53","slug":"gov-bago-advocates-efforts-by-govt-religious-bodies-to-restore-family-values","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyechoes.ng\/index.php\/2025\/05\/04\/gov-bago-advocates-efforts-by-govt-religious-bodies-to-restore-family-values\/","title":{"rendered":"Gov Bago advocates efforts by govt, religious bodies to restore family values\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>By Uthman Baba-Al-Naseer, Minna<\/p>\n<p>Niger State Governor, farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago has advocated concerted efforts between government, parents and religious bodies to restore family values.<\/p>\n<p>The farmer Governor made the call when he attended the 44th anniversary of Living Faith Church Worldwide, at its Minna Headquarters auditorium, Gbaiko.<\/p>\n<p>He decried how people have lost family values, leading to intolerance and many other vices which have negatively impacted on the society.<\/p>\n<p>The farmer Governor, while congratulating the Living Faith Church Worldwide for attaining 44 years, promised to continue to support the Church and Christendom.<\/p>\n<p>He encouraged the Church to key into his agricultural agenda by owning a farm and to continue to pray for his administration as it desires to serve the people to ensure a New Niger is achieved.<\/p>\n<p>The farmer Governor then announced a donation of N50 million to the church, and promised to construct road network within the Church promises.<\/p>\n<p>The Resident Pastor of Living Faith Minna, Pastor, Anso John Dominion appreciated the farmer Governor for attending the 44th anniversary of Living Faith Church Worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>He applauded the doggedness of the Bago-led administration in the realisation of the New Niger agenda, especially through massive infrastructural and agricultural development across the State.<\/p>\n<p>The resident Pastor assured the farmer Governor of the Church&#8217;s continuous prayer for him to complete all the projects initiated which he said are capable of transforming lives and livelihoods in the State.<\/p>\n<p>In their separate goodwill messages, the Deputy Speaker, Niger State House of Assembly, Mrs Afiniki Dauda, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Public Private Partnership, Mr Jonathan Vatsa and the Coordinator to the Governor on Christian affairs, Lawrence Moh&#8217;d Isa congratulated Living Faith Worldwide on the occasion of its 44th anniversary.<\/p>\n<p>They used the forum to commend the farmer Governor for always standing by Christians in the State and promised their support to his policies geared towards improving the State.<\/p>\n<p>Presentations were made to the farmer Governor by the Living Faith Church and the Christian community in the State in honour of his unwavering support to them while an appeal was made for him to build a Christian centre on a land owned by the Christian Association of Nigeria CAN, Niger State Chapter.<\/p>\n<p>The farmer Governor was accompanied to the event by Members of the State Executive Council, and other top government functionaries<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; By Uthman Baba-Al-Naseer, Minna Niger State Governor, farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago has advocated concerted efforts between government, parents and religious bodies to restore family values.
