The African Democratic Congress-led coalition has announced a new venue for the official unveiling of its political platform after a sudden cancellation by the original host, Wells Carlton Hotel, earlier on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

In a statement signed by ADC\u2019s Deputy National Secretary, Nkem Ukandu, the coalition said the unveiling would now take place at the Shehu Musa Yar\u2019Adua Centre in Abuja by 2:00 pm on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

\u201cMembers of the National Working Committee, National Executive Committee, BOT, and other key stakeholders and members are expected to attend.<\/p>\n

\u201cPlease note that attendance is self-sponsored,\u201d the statement read.<\/p>\n

The announcement comes hours after the Wells Carlton Hotel withdrew from hosting the event, citing an unspecified \u201cinternal compliance matter.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are fully aware that the event is less than 24 hours away, and we deeply apologise for the timing and inconvenience this may cause,\u201d the hotel said in a statement shared by media personality and politician Dele Momodu.<\/p>\n

The cancellation had triggered outrage among opposition leaders, with some accusing the APC-led government of political interference.<\/p>\n
