It is mostly vision less people that they easily get into their head and they quickly buy into those ideas.

“We are failing the next generations because there is a gap between parental care for this young generations because they do whatever want to do this days and make decisions at a tender age without minding the implications . Parents are face with economic pressure and so they don’t really have time to mentor the young ones by given them parental care and love.

“But we must reverse back to the statuquos where parents play their roles and the communities stand up to it’s responsibility and that will help reduce the human trafficking, drugs abuse and gender based violence in our society. And as a community, if they see something strange they should speak up.

“Drug abuse, human trafficking, they are like hands in glove, they move together, as they move young people, they move together, just sitting down and complaining is not enough, a deliberate action needs to be taken by government and all other institutions to block the opportunity for profiteers who take pleasure in taking young people for this trade. Community must play their role too.

“Women and teenagers are the greater majority facing this challenges ,we are focusing on women because they are more vulnerable and naive”.

He said in his kingdom, there is deliberate efforts by the traditional institutions to block, arrests anyone involved in drug abuse and human trafficking if cut will make to face the law “and in my place, we pursue more of academics than engaging in dangerous business”.

By David Owei,Bayelsa The rate of kidnapping all over the world has been described as something worrisome and Nigeria is not left out in this global menace because People are taking people for kidnapping, drug abuse, human trafficking and gender based violence not peculiar to Nigeria alone.
