Deputy Leader of the Ekeremor Local Government council legislative Assembly,Hon Laeticia Judge-ere Tarerefa has called for the establishment of Computer-Based Test (CBT) Centre (CBT) in every local councils to create quick access to education and examination participation.<\/p>\n
Hon. Laeticia Judge-ere Tarerefa, who is the Deputy leader of the Ekeremor LGA 7th Legislative arm and Secetary-General of the South-South Councillors Forum, Insisted that the establishment of JAMB Computer-Based Test (CBT) Centres at the grassroots will create a proactive step aimed at enhanced access to educational opportunities.<\/p>\n
The motion, according to Judge-ere Tarerefa
\nseeks to address the educational challenges faced by students in the rural communities of Ekeremor, precipitating the long journeys with huge financial implications to reach distant JAMB examination centres.<\/p>\n
Hon. Tarerefa emphasized that creating a CBT centre in Ekeremor would minimize these difficulties, promote digital literacy, and expand access to educational opportunities for all students in the LGA.<\/p>\n
Hon. Tarerefa expressed deep appreciation to her colleagues during plenary, particularly the Leader of the House, Hon Benni N. Sylvester, for their overwhelming support of her motion; saying, “I am truly honoured by the solidarity shown by the Ekeremor 7th Legislative Assembly”.<\/p>\n
The Ward 1 representative in the Ekeremor Legislative Arms reaffirmed her continued loyalty to the leadership of the House, pledging commitment to all motions and resolutions aimed at enhancing access to quality education: \u201cI remain dedicated to championing efforts that secure a brighter future for our young people.\u201d<\/p>\n
