Henry Mbachu has dumped his Party, Labour Party, LP for the Young Progressive Party (YPP)<\/p>\n<p>Making this declaration\u00a0 in a video broadcast Thursday, Mbachu explained that the decision to join YPP was reached after a careful consideration, having assessed the party\u2019s Governorship YPP candidate and his manifesto.<\/p>\n<p>while noting that the YPP candidate manifesto best expresses his desire for a new Anambra State, Mbachu pledged to work assiduously for the YPP and the Governorship candidate of the party, Sir Paul Chukwuma, for the November 8, Anambra State Governorship Election.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on the quality of YPP\u2019s candidate and his confidence in the party and the candidate\u2019s manifesto, Hon. Mbachu said, &#8220;Not only does Paul Chukwuma\u2019s manifesto fit into his own set legislative agenda for his constituents, his candidacy appeals to the youths and has a compelling vision and plan for Anambra State. It is comparable to none else.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am here this day to declare to you my defection from Labour Party to the YPP. This decision is made on the foundation of a carefully thought-out way for the good people of Awka and Okpuno, with the best interest at heart.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;For the November 8 Governorship election in Anambra iState, I am going to work with the candidate who has presented the best manifesto that soothes the people of Awka and Okpuno.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;A candidate who represents the young minds. A candidate who presented an understandable blueprint on how to develop Anambra from consumption to production.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;A candidate who has shown me that industries can be built across the state, His Excellency, Barrister Paul Chukwuma. He has also assured me that in every facility built in Awka by the government, Awka and Okpuno people will have the option of first refusal from level 1 to level 7.
