A faith-based civil society organization dedicated to monitoring and reporting on Hajj activities, the Independent Hajj Reporters, IHR, would hold its Annual Post-Hajj Lecture and Recognition Event, on Thursday, September 11, 2025.<\/p>\n
The event, according to a statement by the group’s national coordinator, Ibrahim Muhammad on behalf of the planning committee, would take place at the Auditorium of the National Mosque, Central Area, Abuja, beginning at 10:00 am prompt.<\/p>\n
Muhammad explained that the post-Hajj lecture provides a platform for stakeholders to review lessons from the 2025 Hajj, share best practices, and chart a path towards more efficient and pilgrim-focused Hajj operations in Nigeria.<\/p>\n
He disclosed that this year\u2019s event, themed \u201cFor the Interest of Pilgrims: Nigeria and the Quest for Best Hajj Operational Practices,\u201d is proudly supported by the Jigawa State Government under the leadership of His Excellency, Mallam Umar Namadi.<\/p>\n
The Special Guest of Honour will be the Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima, while the Chairman of the o
\nccasion is Dr. Yusuf Adebayo Ibrahim, the National Deputy President of the Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria, a veteran in Hajj affairs and a former senior official of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON.<\/p>\n
Another Hajj affairs technocrat and a former Commissioner of Education in Kaduna State, Shehu Usman Muhammed, Phd will serve as the keynote speaker.<\/p>\n
Other personalities expected at the event include His Excellency Faisal Bin Ebraheem Alghamdi, Saudi Arabia\u2019s Ambassador to Nigeria as the Guest of Honour.<\/p>\n
