Do not fall victim to the antics of criminal elements.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While distancing itself from the scam, the Commission announced that ,&#8221;it has officially opened its verified recruitment portal, www.pres.inecnigeria.org, strictly for the engagement of ad-hoc staff ahead of the forthcoming Anambra Governorship Election.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The roles available include:<\/p>\n<p>Supervisory Presiding Officers (SPOs)<\/p>\n<p>Presiding Officers (POs)<\/p>\n<p>Assistant Presiding Officers (APOs I, II, III)<\/p>\n<p>Registration Area Technical Support Staff (RATECHs)<\/p>\n<p>Registration Area Centre (RAC) Managers<\/p>\n<p>Eligibility cuts across public servants, corps members, ICT professionals, and staff of host schools, all crucial to ensuring a transparent and credible election.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The statement further cautioned,&#8221;To curb exploitation and ensure clarity, INEC directed all prospective applicants to rely only on its official communication channels:<\/p>\n<p>Call Centre: 0700-CALL-INEC (0700-2255-4632)<\/p>\n<p>Email: pres@inec.gov.ng<\/p>\n<p>Verified social media handles: @inecnigeria<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Reaffirming its dedication to transparency, inclusivity, and electoral credibility, the Commission urged Nigerians to seize this opportunity to serve their nation while ignoring fake portals and fraudulent messages.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Participation, INEC stressed, is strictly limited to temporary ad-hoc positions required for the smooth conduct of the Anambra Governorship Election, nothing more.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; By Our Correspondent The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has raised the alarm over a fraudulent recruitment advert making the rounds on social media, warning Nigerians not to fall prey to criminal syndicates targeting unsuspecting job seekers.
