{"id":7668,"date":"2025-10-05T16:48:51","date_gmt":"2025-10-05T16:48:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyechoes.ng\/?p=7668"},"modified":"2025-10-05T16:49:08","modified_gmt":"2025-10-05T16:49:08","slug":"gov-zulum-visits-banki-on-a-peace-resilience-building-mission-to-strengthens-security-at-border-town-pledges-to-resettle-3-additional-border-communities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyechoes.ng\/index.php\/2025\/10\/05\/gov-zulum-visits-banki-on-a-peace-resilience-building-mission-to-strengthens-security-at-border-town-pledges-to-resettle-3-additional-border-communities\/","title":{"rendered":"Gov.Zulum visits Banki on a peace, resilience building mission to Strengthens Security at border Town   &#8211; pledges\u00a0 to Resettle 3 Additional border\u00a0 Communities"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">By Our Correspondent<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Governor Babagana\u00a0 Zulum, of Borno state was on a peace and resilience building visit to Banki and Kirawa towns ( border towns between Nigeria and Cameroon republic) to strengthen security.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0Zulum who was\u00a0 on a working visit to\u00a0 Banki town after visiting Kirawa town\u00a0 on Friday,\u00a0 addressing\u00a0 enthusiastic crowd,\u00a0 assured residents of the border town of Banki that robust security measures will be implemented to protect the area from further attacks by Boko Haram insurgents.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">While commending the people for their courage and resilience in the face of a recent attack,\u00a0 Governor Zullum urged them not to be disheartened.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u201cI purposely came to Banki to salute your courage; your act of bravery is really encouraging,.. \u201cWe should not allow a few bad elements to displace this town whose businesses and economic activities have been thriving.\u201d , Zullum said.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The Governor , \u201cI want to assure you that the insurgents will not succeed, Insha&#8217;Allah. We will strengthen the security of this border town and will support our youth volunteers, hunters, and vigilantes to further fortify this area.\u201d<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">As part of his ongoing post-conflict recovery programme, the governor also announced the planned resettlement of three communities, Kumshe, Tarmu\u2019a and Bula Yobe in Bama local government area.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u201cKumshe, Tarmu\u2019a and Bula Yobe will be resettled.
