Bilkisu Mohammed Onusagba, Wife of ADC National Chairman, Mrs Hellen Onma Mark, ADC National women Leader, Mrs Naomi  Lasara Abel, and Mrs Muhammed Deen Habiba<\/p><\/div><\/p>\n<p>The resolution was reached at the Expanded Northern Consultative Women Leadership Meeting of the ADC held yesterday in Abuja. The gathering drew influential female leaders from across the North to strategize on grassroots mobilization, political education, and women\u2019s increased participation in governance.<\/p>\n<p>Addressing the meeting, Mrs. Naomi Lasara Abel, the ADC National Women Leader, described the ADC as \u201cthe only credible alternative to the ruling party.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to her, the ADC has demonstrated genuine commitment to inclusion by giving women and youth key opportunities in leadership.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is clear evidence that our party stands firmly with the younger generation of Nigerians who are ready to lead the nation to greatness,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Abel called on northern women to close ranks, unite behind the ADC, and take active roles in shaping the party\u2019s victory strategy ahead of 2027.<\/p>\n<p>Chairing the session, Mrs. Zainab Boni Haruna and Coordinator Hajia Bilkisu Mohammed Onusagba led discussions on political empowerment, capacity building, and women\u2019s representation at all levels of government. They reaffirmed their confidence in the ADC\u2019s national leadership and commitment to democratic inclusion.<\/p>\n<p>In her goodwill message, Mrs. Hellen Onma Mark, wife of the ADC National Chairman, Senator David Mark, commended the women leaders for their foresight and resolve.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat we are witnessing today is the awakening of women\u2019s political power in Nigeria,\u201d she said. \u201cThe ADC believes that when women rise, nations prosper. This movement is not just about elections\u2014it\u2019s about restoring integrity, competence, and compassion to leadership through the collective strength of Nigerian women.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Also in attendance were Alhaji Adamu Maina Waziri and Distinguished Senator Dino Melaye, who both applauded the women\u2019s mobilization drive. They urged them to work diligently for the success of the party, emphasizing that women remain the backbone of political mobilization and grassroots influence in Nigeria.
