The Niger State High courts are now to be digitalized as it adopts E-Filling of cases to enhance speedy administration and quick dispensation of Justice.<\/p>\n
This development was aimed at bringing Justice closer to the door step of litigants and reduce the cumbersome lawyers and litigants experience while filling motions and other relevant court process <\/p>\n
Addressing participants at a stakeholders meeting held at the Women Multi purpose centre in Minna Thursday, the Chief Judge of Niger State Justice Halima Ibrahim Abdulmalik stated that the adoption of the digitalization of the courts process through E-Filling will reduce the workload of Judges.<\/p>\n
The stakeholders meeting, Justice Halima Ibrahim explained that was called to bring together critical stakehol padministration of Justice system to brainstorm on the digitalization of court process across the <\/p>\n
According to Justice Halima Ibrahim Abdulmalik, other states judiciary have so far gone digital through E-Filling in their respective High Courts stating that the digitalization of court process will bring a sort of relief to both lawyers, litigants and judges.<\/p>\n
She pointed out that E-Filling system adopted in all courts process will go along way to bring about a relief to court staff,lawyers and litigants urging legal practitioners in the state to key into the E-Filling system to enhance their practice.<\/p>\n
In his key note remarks,the Chief Judge of Borno State Justice Kashim Zanna the E-Filling process in the High Courts has be come imperative across the country for lawyers in filling their motions and other relevant documents without necessarily appearing in court <\/p>\n
He urged all critical stakeholders in the administration of Justice to key into the digitalization of the judiciary this according to the Borno State Chief Judge will reduce the stress of lawyers traveling to fill their court process in a far away <\/p>\n
\u201c You don’t need to even stress yourself to file your court process. You don’t have to travel to file your motions. Even in your Chamber you can just file your documents to any courts without you necessarily been in that court.<\/p>\n
\u201c With the digitalization of the judiciary through E-Filling your filling of your process, motions and any other court processes right in your Chamber you can just file everything that is what the digitalization of our court is all about. Justice Kashim Zanna told journalists in an interview.<\/p>\n
He disclosed that a Minna based legal practitioners Dr. Zakariya Bello Esq, is conversant with the digitalization system of E-Filling of all his court processes adding that \u201c he files all his motions and all other court processes from his Chamber in Minna and I received them in Maiduguri even in the mid of the night I will assign it to any of the judge\u201d. <\/p>\n
Justice Zanna underscore the important attached to the digitalization of High Courts,Court of Appeal and the Apex court
\nstressing that with the technological trends,\u201d every critical stakeholders in the administration of justice should key into the E-Filling system in our courts for speedy dispensation of justice\u201d<\/p>\n
In his remarks,the Chairman Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Minna branch,Isyaku Barau Esq, applauded the Chief Judge for her unwavering commitment in the digitalizing the Niger State Judiciary.<\/p>\n
He requested for the training of his members in the state to acquaint them with the new technological trends of digitalization of the E-Filling system in \u201c our justice system\u201d <\/p>\n
