Youth of Akwa Ibom State have been tasked to imbibe the virtue of uprightness, positive thinking and good character worthy of emulation among their peers, as life is comprised of positive and negative attitude.<\/p>\n
The Commissioner for Economic Development and Budget in the State, Mr Linus Nkan, gave the admonition at his Uyo residence while filling questions from newsmen on the occasion of his 2025 birthday celebration.<\/p>\n
Thanking God thus far, Dr Nkan who posited that his achievements in life is as a result of not only toeing the positive part of live despite all challenges he had faced as a man since his humble beginnings, but it’s also as a result of God’s abundance grace and blessings.<\/p>\n
Held from Ibesikpo Asutan LGA of the state, Dr Linus Nkan, a professional banker, politician and community builder, explained that without God’s grace, he wouldn’t have attended the height which he is today and therefore charged the younger generation to always put God first in their doing, as the author and finisher of mankind.<\/p>\n
While expressing happiness over his age which he normally celebrate on the 24th of every October, the jovial, easy going and very humble man by nature, thanked his immediate family, friends, acquaintance, political associates and followers for coming out to identified with on the occasion and prayed God to bless them all.<\/p>\n
Reacting, the member representing him in Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Hon Pastor Ubong Attah maintained that they are very happy to have someone like Dr Linus Nkan from the area, noting that he is a leader who had lived a life withy of emulation going by his peaceful disposition and humanely character at all times. He therefore prayed God sustain his life with good health, sound mind and long life to continue to live a purposeful life to the glory of God Almighty and benefits of humanity.<\/p>\n
Others who were on ground to celebrate with the four figure politician includes serving Senator, former House of Reps members\/ Commissioners, LG Council Chairman for Ibesikpo Asutan, political class, women, youths and relatives of the celebrator.
