{"id":8478,"date":"2025-11-06T15:08:56","date_gmt":"2025-11-06T15:08:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyechoes.ng\/?p=8478"},"modified":"2025-11-06T15:08:56","modified_gmt":"2025-11-06T15:08:56","slug":"senate-confirms-udeh-for-ministerial-appointment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyechoes.ng\/index.php\/2025\/11\/06\/senate-confirms-udeh-for-ministerial-appointment\/","title":{"rendered":"Senate confirms Udeh for ministerial appointment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>By Our Correspondent <\/p>\n<p>Senate at plenary on Thursday confirmed the nomination of Dr Kingsley Udeh  for appointment as Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.<br \/>\nRecall that the confirmation of Udeh, who is current  Attorney -General and Commissioner of  Justice in Enugu state followed   his screening  by the Committee of the Whole.<\/p>\n<p>Udeh, responding to questions from senators, said given  his strong background in research and academics, years of  governance experience, developmental expert, he would add value to renewed hope agenda of President Tinubu.<\/p>\n<p>According  to him, he will  serve the country diligently, if sworn in as a member of the Federal Executive Council.<\/p>\n<p>President of Senate, Godswill Akpabio, after the confirmation  said Udeh was a suitable choice for ministerial appointment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLet me thank Mr President for the nomination of Dr Kingsley Udeh.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe appears to be fit and proper to be a minister, he has acquitted himself as a well-bred Nigerian child, acknowledging his parents.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI hope he will bring his wealth of experience to add value to the federal cabinet and realise the Renewed Hope Agenda of Mr President.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Our Correspondent Senate at plenary on Thursday confirmed the nomination of Dr Kingsley Udeh for appointment as Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
