And PDP will run a people government and not a situation where government is not accountable after taking from the people.

On the electoral system, Engr. Udoh expressed the hope that the new INEC chairman will by God’s grace do justice to the mandate given him, and should come up with a new policy by comparing it to the past exercises and applied experience with technology and with time there shall be changes brought to bear in the electoral process and as such Nigerians and electorates would have better set of leaders to run people oriented leadership that will govern the country well.

On the other hand, Eng Augustine Udoh said he has been a PDP member since 2003 though active in politics from 2015 he had observed meaningful and tangible developmental strides from previous government in Akwa Ibom right from Obong Victor Attah, Godswill Obot Akpbio to Udom Emmanuel but since the present governor Pastor Umo Eno came on board he hasn’t seen significant improvement in the infrastructural landmark of the state unlike his predecessors and wondering that if he could not achieved much while in PDP, how much then will he achieved having defected to APC with a promise to give the state Ibom Deep Seaport which is not visible as far as APC government is concerned, because anything APC is full with promise and failed. He then queried what the present governor will used to campaign for his second term like signature projects as elections time draws near.

“How do you leave a peaceful party to join a rowdy party that doesn’t have good policy and plans for citizens, APC is bringing us hardship, porverty and people are dying more than before because of APC bad government, so we need PDP back to power in Akwa Ibom because Akwa Ibom is PDP and PDP is Akwa Ibom, we will be back, we will lead Akwa Ibom people back to their fortune, their success, their blessings and goodness”, he vowed.

Engr Augustine Udoh then says he believed in enriching the people and not himself and that is what he wants for Akwa Ibom people and not a situation where politicians syphoned public assert and they don’t care about the citizens.

He said contesting any election should not be based on personal interest but on God’s will and the people’s will because he believed in the prosperity of the people, and promised to offer further useful information and ideas that will engender good governance and development to Akwa Ibom State and Nigeria at large.

By Our Reporter Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chieftain from Uyo Local Government Area, Engr Augustine Udoh has attributed the Nigeria’s economic, political and insecurity realities to bad policies of the present APC led government and asserted that the solution lies in voting in a new set of leaders under the umbrella of People’s Democratic Party.
