{"id":8943,"date":"2025-11-24T20:38:27","date_gmt":"2025-11-24T20:38:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyechoes.ng\/?p=8943"},"modified":"2025-11-24T20:38:27","modified_gmt":"2025-11-24T20:38:27","slug":"bmna-nominates-trillium-stars-british-international-school-as-best-discovery-school-of-the-year","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyechoes.ng\/index.php\/2025\/11\/24\/bmna-nominates-trillium-stars-british-international-school-as-best-discovery-school-of-the-year\/","title":{"rendered":"BMNA nominates Trillium Stars British International school as &#8220;Best Discovery School of the year&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> By David Owei,Bayelsa <\/p>\n<p>The Proprietress of Trillium Stars British International School Kpansia, Yenagoa, bayelsa state Mrs. Onu Chioma has on Monday said the award giving to the school will encourage them to move higher to another level.<\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Onu who was ably represented by the administrator of the school, Mrs. Egbe Anne made the assertion when members of the Bayelsa Media Network Awards visited the school to inform the school of it&#8217;s nomination as Best Discovery School of the year, she reiterated their commitment towards ensuring they continue to maintain the level of discipline,  integrity and academic excellence that have kept them growing all these number of years.<\/p>\n<p>Trillium Stars British International School is been awarded the &#8220;Best Discovery School of The Year&#8221; in Bayelsa state by the Bayelsa Media Network Award (BMNA) with the ceremony slated for 26th December, 2025 at Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Bayelsa state Council.<\/p>\n<p>According to her,&#8221; it was unexpected considering the big schools with big names with solid structures everywhere. It is a joyful thing and also a source of encouragement&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>She said, the award Will make them to discover more and do better and create effective and efficient learning atmosphere for the children to thrive to become who they want to be in the future.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our curriculum is mixed, we both have the British and Nigeria curriculum because the children can be anywhere in the world and they should be able to mingle with others and measure with them academically. And with Nigeria, all the curriculum are intact. We are inculcating the two curriculum so that they can associate with others at any level. Our quality is second to none&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>She said, in another ten years, they want to see themselves having branches across the country.<\/p>\n<p>The Project Manager of Bayelsa Media Network Award (BMNA) Mr. Blessing Mathew Ozegbe,  commended Trillium Stars British International School for always maintaining a high level of discipline, integrity and academic excellence in there activities. <\/p>\n<p>According to Ozegbe, looking at the way they are taking care of the children especially the Children with Special Needs, the school is doing great.<\/p>\n<p>He described the school academic system as excellent with  hard working and dedicated  teachers and  administrative staff. &#8220;BMNA is not coming to you because of money but because of the level of integrity and the standard you have.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;What you have here is massive, all you need to do is more of publicity to create more awareness for your school to grow more than this.
