{"id":9090,"date":"2025-12-01T15:51:11","date_gmt":"2025-12-01T15:51:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyechoes.ng\/?p=9090"},"modified":"2025-12-01T15:51:11","modified_gmt":"2025-12-01T15:51:11","slug":"bishop-umoh-seeks-intervention-to-educational-sustainability-as-public-schools-decry-lack-of-teachers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyechoes.ng\/index.php\/2025\/12\/01\/bishop-umoh-seeks-intervention-to-educational-sustainability-as-public-schools-decry-lack-of-teachers\/","title":{"rendered":"Bishop Umoh seeks intervention to  educational sustainability  &#8230;.as public schools decry lack of Teachers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>By Emmanuel Ikpe <\/p>\n<p>Well to do individuals in the private sector of the economy have been urged to throw in their support to educational development in Akwa Ibom State, as government cannot do it alone.<\/p>\n<p>Bishop Solomon Umoh, the preciding Bishop of Liberated Chapel gave the charge while speaking with newsmen shortly after an empowerment program organized by Prince Uwem Essien Foundation held for students of public schools at Onna People&#8217;s High School, Abat in Onna Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State at the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Bishop Solomon Umoh who was Chairman on the occasion while commending the foundation for empowering women, youth and children in the area, says that what the foundation is doing is worthy of emulation based on his good work, and gave kudos to the president, Barr Prince Uwem Essien.<\/p>\n<p>Bishop Solomon Umoh who doubles as the Leader of Asuna Nung Oku Intercessors Network and Proprietor Liberated Stars Academy discovered that there is lack of adequate teachers to hand subjects at public schools in part of Onna Local Government Area.<br \/>\nExplaining that the lacuna is bedevilled to the development of education system in the state, Bishop Umoh emphasized the need for private individuals who are well to do to move in and assist in filling up the challenges like what Prince Uwem Essien Foundation is doing.<\/p>\n<p>According to Umoh, &#8220;I see it as a platform for empowerment, a platform to encourage students, the Youths, the children to read, what he has done should be a challenge to many. Personally I love to aspire to champion a platform like this&#8221;, he added.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Beyond the educational perspective, as person and religious leader, Like what am doing in Asuna Nung Oku, we have a network where the people come together to pray, share problem and solved them together.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I will want to advise everyone, as the Lord has bless you, reach out financially, materially and otherwise.
