There was wide spread jubilation as Civil servants across Rivers State began the week of Monday, December 29, 2025, with widespread celebration as they received bank alerts for a \u20a6100,000 Christmas bonus from the state government.<\/p>\n
The special intervention, package personally approved by Governor Siminalayi Fubara, was disbursed directly into the accounts of the state\u2019s workforce to assist with the holiday festivities.<\/p>\n
The news has generated significant excitement throughout various ministries and departments of the state civil service.<\/p>\n
As the “alerts” continued to drop, many civil servants expressed appreciation for the timely financial boost.<\/p>\n
They noted that the gesture has greatly enhanced the morale of the public service during the yuletide season.<\/p>\n
The 2025 Christmas Bonus for Rivers’ workers is a record third year since Governor Fubara assumed office and authorised such a substantial bonus. <\/p>\n
